Ambient brings 80 years of HVAC experience to data centers and other sectors
Ambient is a national collective of HVAC design and implementation experts. The company includes well-established brands in the industry, many boasting 30-to-40 years of experience. This rich history contributes to Ambient’s strong track record, solid reputation, and the many qualities that are essential for success. We learn more about the company’s capabilities and evolution from Chris Bisaccia, Chief Executive Officer.

“We specialize in HVAC equipment and its application within engineering and construction solutions, partnering with companies that share our values and drive,” Chris opens. “We are very loyal to the manufacturers we have represented through the years, many for over three decades. These long-standing partnerships have significantly contributed to our success and established track record.
“Buildings present a range of demands – from energy efficiency and acoustics to spatial constraints, budget, and construction timelines – and meeting them is where our manufacturing relationships come in, ensuring the right HVAC products reach the engineering and construction communities. This means working closely and equally with our partners on the manufacturing side and our clients to find the right solution for their specific project.
“After effectively installing HVAC equipment, we provide ongoing technical services and aftermarket support to ensure the full lifecycle health of the equipment we provide. We do so in various market sectors, such as commercial projects, healthcare and life sciences, high-rise developments, and we’ve continued to be a strong player in the data center market. Thanks to our nationwide footprint, we can handle our national accounts across any territory throughout the country, supported by a diverse, culture-driven, and client-focused team.”
As Chris notes, Ambient offers expertise in the data center sector, and the company is ideally positioned to support data center clients across the US through both its field services and applied solutions. What sets Ambient apart is that, unlike many competitors who are taking on data center projects and figuring out how to deliver them along the way, Ambient has already built the capabilities and 25-year foundation needed to service this sector effectively on the power and HVAC side. This puts it in a strong position to accommodate future growth as the market continues to evolve rapidly. Alongside this, the company has seen particularly strong growth in healthcare and continues to expand across national account services and diverse market sectors.
Client satisfaction
What further sets Ambient apart from its competition is not just its broad range of capabilities, but also its strong company culture and the skilled professionals it employs. As a primarily engineering-focused business, Ambient boasts a talented engineering workforce all committed to client satisfaction. The company is extraordinarily well-balanced, especially when it comes to managing the full lifecycle of projects. Excelling in both the applied engineering and field service aspects of project execution, Ambient ensures comprehensive support throughout every phase of a job.
This client-first approach, embodied by the team’s dedication to comprehensive customer service, is the cornerstone of Ambient’s culture. The company operates under the belief that the success of its clients and projects directly drives the success of its brand. “At Ambient, we foster a close-knit family culture with our people,” Chris says. “Furthermore, our employees are deeply connected to the communities around us, actively participating in or sponsoring community service organizations. So, we enjoy a strong local presence, which truly drives our culture and reinforces our relationships with our client base.”
Prioritizing people
Alongside supporting its communities, Ambient is passionate about investing in workforce development through Ambient Academy. Chris discusses what this program has to offer. “Educating both our people and the local construction communities, including engineers, contractors, service technicians and clients, is extremely important to us. We have the opportunity to access the latest technology directly from manufacturers due to our position in the supply chain. This allows us to gain valuable knowledge and experience on how to use these innovations, which we then share with our Ambient Salesforce and the engineers and contractors we consider our teammates on projects. We believe it is important for them to be educated as well, hence why we try to get this information out to them in various ways. Through our well-rounded programs, we provide hands-on equipment operation training and in-person as well as remote training. Furthermore, we organize factory trips where we can visit manufacturers in their facilities and conduct training sessions. We have a lot more tools in our toolbox to effectively share this education than many others do.”

Maintaining this culture and commitment to education is a priority for Ambient as it looks to the future. For now, Chris sheds light on the company’s ambitions for the remainder of 2026. “We are going to embrace a steadfast approach in aligning our cultures as we expand into new territories,” he shares. “As we continue to grow, our focus will remain on core markets, while enhancing our sales, field services, and parts teams with like-minded experts. A good example of this was our early investment in growing our data center support group, which currently already supports clients nationally with mission-critical solutions.
“Parts and aftermarket services also represent an important avenue for growth. After we supply our equipment, there is a lot of work that goes into making sure that we have a strong local presence to support the products once they are installed. We maintain a significant inventory of local parts and have dedicated teams focused on aftermarket solutions for upgrade, renovation, and retrofit clients. This aspect is not only vital to our operations but also plays a critical role in our growth moving forward,” Chris concludes.
Ambient is weaving decades of brand heritage into a modern, nationwide HVAC platform that can engineer, deliver and support projects from start to finish. The company’s unmatched capabilities and scale give it a clear competitive edge for its existing core business as well as in fast-moving sectors like data centers. Most notably, however, its unique culture positions it for durable expansion.
